Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management

Our Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management degree program online will prepare you to be a leader who is knowledgeable of current and emerging issues. Courses are offered in ways to accommodate students' schedules and learning preferences. Most courses are offered in an accelerated eight-week term.

Admission Requirements

  1. Must have earned an Associate of Science (A.S.), Associate of Arts (A.A.) or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university and completed a minimum of 60 transferable college credit hours with a GPA of 2.0 or above.
  2. Submit a bachelor's admissions application or apply online by the published term deadline.
  3. Submit a letter of recommendation from a current employer or, if not currently employed, a letter or recommendation from a previous employer (within the last five years). Letter of recommendation must be on employer's letterhead and must be signed. If a letter of recommendation from an employer is unavailable, a professor from within the public safety professions is an acceptable substitute. The purpose of the letter is to clarify that the B.A.S. in Public Safety Management will enhance the student's career and/or assist the student in career placement.
  4. Submit a one-page essay responding to the following: Please describe how the B.A.S. in Public Safety Management will enhance your career. The purpose of the essay is to ensure the student has an understanding of Public Safety careers, assist the student with academic and career advising, and placement of the student in the appropriate B.A.S. track for electives.
  5. Satisfy the bachelor's degree general admission requirements.
