You will have constant access to a Complete Florida Coach, who is assigned specifically to you. Your Complete Florida Coach will take into account your life experiences, knowledge, wisdom and expertise you have gained over the years. Your knowledge, coupled with past work experience and the college credits you already have will help determine what courses you need to take to finish your college degree online. Coaches will assist you in figuring out how to fit classes into your busy schedule, putting you on a personalized path to a college degree.

Identify Your Study Plan

As an adult returning to school, it is going to be critical that you find a place to study and participate in online courses in a place that works for you. You will also want to figure out what days and times will work best for your schedule to participate in online courses, do homework and prepare for projects and exams. Each Complete Florida institution has a unique set of resources available to you. However, it will be up to you to take the first step in getting support. Begin making your plans now!

Explore Resources at your new University!

Begin looking at the website of the institution you selected. Identify Help Desk, Library, Career Center, Counseling Services, Tutoring Services, Military Resource Centers, Departmental Advisors and more so that you will know where to go for guidance once courses begin.

After You Are Admitted to your Complete Florida Institution

You will be notified that you've been admitted to your program of choice. Next:

Speak with a Financial Aid Counselor

Contact the financial aid counselor at your Complete Florida institution. The name and contact information will be sent to you in your admissions letter.

Speak with an Academic Advisor

Present your academic advisor with your Prior Learning Assessment documentation that you developed during the Complete Florida Plugged-In course upon admissions and develop a program of study for your desired program.

Enroll in Courses

Once you have been admitted to a Complete Florida institution, you will receive an admissions letter that will guide you to your next steps that will include talking with an academic advisor and getting registered for courses. Each participating institution will have a distinct process, timeframes and start dates. Your admissions letter will provide all of the necessary details.

Continue to Communicate with Your Complete Florida Coach

Your Complete Florida Coach will continue to work with you to make sure you are on track to meet your college and career goals. Your Complete Florida Coach is available for assistance even after you are admitted and are working with your selected institution.
