Complete Florida knows that making it easier for adults to return to college and finish a degree is not a solitary endeavor. We strive to make connections throughout the state and share ideas to enhance all efforts related to education and workforce development. To support this work, we formed the Complete Florida Networking Group.
“I wear many different hats besides prior learning assessment coordinator, so hearing about the work colleagues are doing across the state makes keeping students informed about their possibilities easier.” ~ Matina Wagner, coordinator for internships and experiential learning at Polk State College
What you need to know:
- Meetings take place virtually each month and last one hour.
- Faculty, advisors, administrators, and other partners and stakeholders meet to learn best practices and how we can all support adults returning to college.
- Topics include accelerated course options, navigating tuition reimbursement, using open educational resources, and so much more!
The Best Part - It's FREE!
Just like Complete Florida’s services, the Networking Group is FREE for all who join. Complete Florida is funded by the state of Florida to help build a stronger, more highly educated workforce.
How Can I Join the Group?
If you would like to join the Complete Florida Networking group, please email Brandy at Ballport@completeflorida.org.
